After retiring from the Navy, Matt became interested in renewable energy and searched for technologies where his engineering and leadership background could provide a service to Northern Nevadans to significantly impact today’s pressing environmental issues. With that goal in mind, Matt earned his certification as an Accredited Professional (LEED AP) from the US Green Building Council, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.

Matt has also earned his certification as an Accredited Installer and Designer of Geothermal Heating and Cooling systems from the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association in 2008, a technology he feels has significant growth potential in Northern Nevada. Matt has the expertise to lead an audit, design and construction team on projects ranging from residential to the largest industrial facilities. Matt is excited to bring his engineering expertise and expert team to Miller Industrial Properties to offer clients opportunities to reduce their environmental impact and save significant amounts of money at the same time.
