With help from Miller Industrial Properties, A.R.E, a manufacturer of truck caps, canopies, toppers, camper shells and accessories, hopscotched from its 185,000 sf facility in Fernley to a new 28,000 sf facility at 1050 Spice Island Drive in Sparks. The larger facility had been underutilized for several years, prompting the company to divest of the asset.
“Tom was highly effective in helping to facilitate the disposition of our manufacturing facility in Fernley, Nevada,” says Dan Fehrenbach, A.R.E. CFO. “The transaction was very complex in nature and Tom’s help and assistance was instrumental. In addition, Tom located several viable new warehouses for our new operation in the Reno – Sparks area. The pricing was negotiated and the lease was completed in record time to allow us a hasty departure from our sold building.”
Miller sold A.R.E.’s former facility to an undisclosed firm. A.R.E. should be operational in its new property in August.
